Garnier Body Tonic £4.15 for 250ml at Superdrug
This product was on offer for so long at superdrug,
Every time I walked into to pick up tat like cotton wool pads i could see it's garish yellow bottle out of the corner of my eye. Eventually I caved.
The tube says:
"moisturises and firms the skin in one invigorating step...non-greasy gel-creme texture...enriched with seaweed extract and phyto caffeine known for its stimulating properties, each day skin feels firmer...proven effectiveness" Along with many more "facts" and numbers.
Pros
- Skin does feel firmer, softer and hydrated for the whole day
- Delish lemon verbena scent
- Dries quickly
- Dermatologically tested
- Large amount of product for the price
- Uses "naturally derived ingredients whenever possible"
Cons
- Skin is firmer over time ONLY with continued use
- Sort of tacky texture which you really have to rub in
- Toned skin feel only proven with a test on 25 women
- Seven day smooth skin feel only proven with a test on 52 women
Overall marks are a solid 8/10
I do prefer the garnier seven day range, which is a similar formula and comes in plenty more scents, but this one was going really cheap and I don't regret the purchase.
