Good Things make Good Products

Welcome to my first post, it's going to be on the good things range which you may not have seen much of before, but available at Boots. I have selected two products - a moisturiser and a concealer as i think they represent the best and worst of this range.

Good things is a skincare brand created by Alice Hart-Davis a beauty journalist and author whose brand aim is encourage "good skincare habits," in young people. 

What initially attracted me to this range was the big purple sticker saying "free from: parabens, mineral oils, sodium laureth sulphate and animal ingredients" notorious nasties. All their products are also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. 

The "face the day moisturiser" is impressive, mainly because of the f*****g amazingly juicy tropicana scent. 

The tube says:

"Moisturiser to keep skin soft smooth and in great condition...hydrating with SPF...anti-oxidant goji berry helps soothe skin and papaya improves skin radiance"

Pros

• Gentle ingredients
• SPF 15, vital for keeping skin young, protected from the sun and UVB rays not to mention discolouration and skin cancer!
• Suitiable for for dry to normal skin 
• Good affordable price and often on offer in boots
• Leaves skin super soft and hydrated
• Dries slightly tacky, so is a good base for makeup to stick too
• SMELL

Cons

• Doesn't protect from UVA rays
• Doesn't seem to improve radiance
• Perhaps a little heavy for greasier skin tones

The 'instant dark circle concealer' is pretty much a let down and only comes in two paley-orange shades.

On the tube: 

"An all-in-one tinted eye concealer for instant camouflage of dark circles, boosted with caffeine and de-puffing peptide..to help tackle tired eyes"

Pros

- Squishy tube fun to play with

- Roller ball feels a little cooling upon application

Cons

- Does not camouflage s***t, watery and difficult to apply

- Orangey tone

- Fruity smell a little overpowering so close to the eyes

Final scores for Good Things - 7 and a half/10

I have also tried the deep pore lotion which is really good and now empty.
